Bataleon Thunderstorm Snowboard 2027

You’re a freestyle snowboarder, but want to ride the entire resort, and maybe even the sidecountry? We’ve got exactly what you need. Meet the Men’s Thunderstorm snowboard. Designed to be snappy, stable, and versatile, the magic behind this all-mountain snowboard really comes from the shape design. A hybrid 3D design (more 3D at the tip than at the tail) pairs perfectly with a slight taper, making the Thunderstorm float really well while feeling both agile, switch-friendly, and ready for anything you can dream of.

Every snowboard in our collection features positive camber from tip to tail, and all 3BT™ models (99% of the collection) are paired with lifted contact points at the widest sections. This design minimises the risk of edge catches while maintaining a lively, responsive feel. After years of research, experimentation, and testing, we've perfected the seamless integration of the snowboard's base with both the camber and sidecut radius.

Camber Height: Low

Tail Uplift: Medium

Features:

UltraLightCore – A 1:2 blend of Poplar and Paulownia that delivers exceptional strength-to-weight ratio.

Ultra Glide S - A premium, 7000-grade sintered base reserved for our high-end models. A higher grade P-Tex means that this base material is equal parts tough as nails and fast as hell.

Tri-Ax Laminate - Our three-way fibreglass weave is light, strong and crazy responsive. We use this to beef up the flex pattern on our more aggressive boards.

Carbon Stringers - Carbon is incredibly lightweight and delivers explosive pop, quick edge response and exceptional dampening at high speeds.

D.S.T (Dual SuperTube™) - D.S.T. = Dual SuperTube™. This means that there is a SuperTube™ on running vertically alongside each rail of the snowboard – providing more pop and snap.

Step Down Rails - A thinner sidewall alongside the edge of the snowboard creates a lighter-weight package and allows for a more direct transfer of power between the wood core and your edges.

FlexWalls™ - We’ve replaced classic ABS sidewalls with poured-in urethane (yes, the same material used for skateboard wheels) for stronger adhesion and better durability—plus a smoother, vibration-dampened feel underfoot.
