The Verso is the fast-track progression platform for improvers to advanced intermediates.
Built on live coaching data from Windwise coach Simon Bornhoft, the Verso’s design is grounded in real feedback from riders across every level. SEVERNE identified the exact qualities in a board that enable the quickest possible progression; then built them in.
STABILITY - Carefully aligned volume distribution creates solid stability for uphauling, tacking, and those challenging moments off the plane. Getting into the footstraps is predictable and controlled, so you spend less time fighting the board and more time building confidence.
PLANING - Rapid, dependable acceleration for super early planing. A progressive rocker line maintains drive through gusts, lulls, and gybing exits. Push it onto its rail for full speed blasting, and you’ll still feel the acceleration to push the limit of your comfort zone.
GYBING - The hardest move you’ll learn on a windsurfer is the gybe. The Verso’s volume distribution, rocker line, and outline plan shape directly improve your gybing. Width distribution delivers a more stable approach with greater margin for error on foot placement. The rail profile works with you through the carve and foot switch. A flatter rocker line delivers a clean rig rotation and early planing speed on the exit. Proven to build gybe consistency.
SIMPLICITY - Everything is pre-tuned for you. The purpose-built Verso powerbox fin is ready to go. Three logical footstrap insert options cover the core phases of progression; beginner, Intermediate, advanced.
Both fin and straps can be fitted, tuned, and positioned quickly with the HEX4 tool (included).

Technology
CENTRALISED BOUYANCY - A centralised buoyancy for stability and progressive acceleration; stay in control while you work your way into the straps and harness.
SIMPLIFIED FOOTSTRAP INSERTS - Only three positions are available on the Verso; beginner, intermediate, and advanced.
HEX 4 - A single tool does everything. The HEX4 tool is supplied with every sail and every board. Compared to a Philips screwdriver, the 4mm hex key is a much easier system to tighten and adjust footstraps and fins. It only requires a rotational movement rather than downforce + rotation. The wide boomerang gives enough leverage to fully tighten footstraps with a fraction of the effort of a Philips screwdriver.
CAMO PADS - Low-profile camo pads to ease movement on the deck.
ROBUST CONSTRUCTION - Full Wood deck and bottom layup with heavy-duty reinforcements. Biaxial Glass reinforcements between the impact zones i.e. mast track, nose, and heels. Rail Bands add parabolic reinforcements for added reactivity.
