The 686 GORE-TEX® Core Insulated Jacket delivers the dependable weather protection of GORE-TEX with lightweight insulation and a clean, uncomplicated design built for skiing and snowboarding.

Designed as an affordable, do-it-all GORE-TEX jacket, the Core combines a durable 2-layer GORE-TEX shell with 60g recycled infiLOFT® insulation through the body, sleeves and hood. A clean exterior is complemented by a practical selection of mountain-specific features, including a waterproof chest vent, adjustable powder skirt, helmet-compatible hood, phone heater pocket and multiple secure storage options.

GORE-TEX Weather Protection

At the heart of the Core Insulated Jacket is a 2-layer GORE-TEX fabric made from 100% recycled polyester, finished with a PFAS-free DWR treatment.

GORE-TEX is designed to provide dependable waterproof and windproof protection while allowing moisture vapour to escape, helping keep you dry and comfortable during active use.

The jacket also features fully taped GORE-TEX seams, sealing the stitched areas of the garment to help prevent moisture from entering through the seams. Together, the waterproof fabric, DWR finish and seam taping create a protective barrier against snow, wind and wet winter conditions.

Lightweight Recycled Insulation

The Core isn't just a waterproof shell. It features 60g infiLOFT® insulation throughout the body, hood and sleeves, with 85% recycled content.

infiLOFT® is designed to provide lightweight warmth while allowing air movement between the insulation fibres. This helps create a comfortable level of warmth without making the jacket excessively bulky or restrictive.

For deep snow and storm conditions, the Core features an attached adjustable powder skirt designed to help prevent snow from entering underneath the jacket.

Helmet-Compatible Hood
