At the heart of the Scout 2.0 is Dakine's DK Dry waterproof insert, engineered to provide a protective barrier against snow and moisture while allowing internal heat and perspiration to escape. Combined with a PFC-free DWR-treated outer shell, the construction helps keep your hands dry and comfortable when riding in snowy, wet and changeable conditions.

Warmth comes from Hi Loft recycled polyester insulation, providing lightweight thermal protection without adding excessive bulk. The glove features a 150g tricot lining for a soft, comfortable feel against the hand, while the insulated construction helps retain warmth throughout long sessions on the slopes.

One of the Scout 2.0's standout features is its removable storm liner glove. Made from mid-weight 280g four-way stretch fleece, this separate inner glove provides an additional layer of warmth and can be worn independently when conditions allow. Its touchscreen-compatible construction also means you can use your smartphone without having to remove your liner, making it easy to check messages, take photos or navigate your way around the resort.

The outer glove features a Recycled AX Rev PU rPET palm, offering a durable, practical grip surface designed to withstand regular use. This provides dependable handling when adjusting bindings, carrying equipment or gripping your snowboard, while the synthetic construction offers a comfortable and flexible feel.

Designed with convenience in mind, the Scout 2.0 also features an internal heat pack pocket, allowing you to add disposable hand warmers when temperatures really drop. A soft thumb wipe panel provides a convenient way to clear moisture from your goggles or wipe your nose without removing your gloves.

The extended gauntlet cuff features a one-hand cinch closure, making it easy to secure the glove over your jacket sleeve and help prevent snow from entering. A removable wrist leash with an adjustable cord lock provides additional security when taking your gloves off on lifts or around the resort.

Constructed using 61% recycled polyester in the outer shell and 100% recycled polyester Hi Loft insulation, the Scout 2.0 also incorporates more recycled materials into its construction, alongside a PFC-free DWR treatment.
