Wingfoiling is taking the world by storm, and the sport is now more accessible than ever to beginners interested in getting the foiling buzz!

The team here at Wet ’N’ Dry boardsports have been involved since the sport’s inception, and are regularly found on Essex waters pushing their limits and continuing to improve. We all agree than Wingfoiling is one of the easier windsports that we’ve taken part in, despite how difficult it looks. We are excited to now be able to offer beginners tuition to anyone interested in getting involved with this new and exciting water sport. The aim of our lessons is to give you the skills and relevent kit advice to get on the water for yourself and become part of our winging family!

At our spacious location on the River Crouch, Essex, we’ll get you started by first practicing with the wing on a paddle board, before graduating to a foil once the basics are down. We use a range of high quality equipment from the brands we sell day-to-day and you’ll be receiving constant feedback from your instructor on the safety boat through our BB Talkin’ bluetooth headsets.

What is included?

Everything you need to get you started including wetsuit, buoyancy aid, helmet incl. bluetooth BBTalkin' headset . All wingfoiling kit is included, a board, wing & foil suited to your size, weight and experience.

What will you learn?

This lesson is the starting point for most people, those who haven’t participated in a wind sport previously. This involves some theory covering wind, tide, equipment and land drills, before then heading out on the board and putting your skills into practice. Once you’re comfortable riding back and forth we’ll start to explore gybing and introduce upwind/downwind sailing.

What's Next?

Following the first lesson, all students are invited back for as many 2-hour 'practice' sessions as they would like, at a reduced cost of £90.
