Drawing from years of experience in paraglider and foil kite design, we crafted the Pocket Rocket for both friendly handling and high-performance freeriding.

• Stability when depowered was key—refined through insights from our Explore snowkite programme

• Leading-edge profile battens maintain aerodynamic integrity when depowering

• A carefully balanced cell and rib construction prevents tip collapse, delivering stable, comfortable riding

• Transverse Sail Shaping along the leading edge creates a cleaner surface on the most important area of the aerofoil. The result is less turbulent airflow and longer skin adhesion, which positively affects the lift-to-drag ratio increasing overall performance

HOW DOES IT COMPARE TO WINGFOILING OR KITESURFING?

• The Pocket Rocket produces similar power per size to an inflatable wingfoil wing, but flies more like a kite due to its bridled structure

• Offers stronger initial downwind pull than a wingfoil wing

• To get going and come up on the foil, let the board be pulled in the downwind direction that the Pocket Rocket naturally first wants to pull you. Once riding, use the bar for smooth power control and adjust your angle for upwind progress

Designed with OZ-CAD - The future is now. All Ozone kite and wings are designed with our own highly advanced custom built CAD software that we control and modify with each new product design. Allowing for specifically tailored technical developments, our designers can maximise performance while also minimising waste. 

Single-Layer Laser Cut - Ozone kites and wings are crafted with exceptional precision using advanced laser technology to cut each panel individually in a single layer. This meticulous approach ensures consistent accuracy across all products, from entry level to high performance models. Our commitment to high standards in production reflects our dedication to delivering reliable, high-quality equipment for riders at every level.

High Performance Ultra Light Materials - Durable, airtight and lightweight double rip-stop Nylon material for the upper and lower surfaces. The material has a unique formulated coating to help shed water, improving flying characteristics and water re-launch.

Single Surface Design - The single surface generates ample lift with low airspeed, resulting in easy and forgiving handling, while still providing the power to get up on foil. Additionally this offers unique low-end flying characteristics with instant and efficient de-power. With only one skin, weight and pack volume minimal, ideal for quick and easy packing or stashing.

Optimised Bridle Lines - High-quality, colour-coded bridle lines with optimised thickness ensure tangle free handling, making launching and packing easy. Featuring spliced loop-to-loop connections, these bridles glide smoothly through your hands and eliminate snagging.

L.E Profile Reinforcements - The Leading Edge is reinforced with flexible lightweight plastic battens to maintain the shape of the profile during angle of attack changes and turbulent airflow. This drastically improves overall performance as the foil remains true to the designed shape.

Transverse Sail Shaping - The Leading Edge features Transverse Sail Shaping creating a cleaner surface on the most important area of the aerofoil. The result is less turbulent airflow and longer skin adhesion, which positively affects the lift to drag ratio increasing overall performance.

Spanwise Bridge Lines - Lines running across the underside of the wing distribute load from the bridles evenly and effectively. This avoids excessive span-wise tension being transmitted into the canopy and allows its profile and billow to be controlled more precisely.

Tuned Bridle Geometry - We work extensively during our R&D process to develop the size range to feel in tune with each other. Every kite has a unique bridle layout, individually tested and fine-tuned to maximize the feeling and performance.

Harness Line Connection - A harness line can be attached to the control bar - hook in for less arm fatigue and longer sessions.

Swivel Leash Line (Optional) - The Swivel Leash Line features a strong Dyneema line with internal bungee core and an ultra light Stainless Steel swivel to keep the leash twist free. It easily connects to the control bar leader line.

Waist Strap (optional) - The Waist Strap is slim and lightweight with a strong buckle closure and size adjustment buckle. It connects to the Leash Line via a loop-to-loop connection. If you become overpowered or lose control, let go of the control bar and the wing will de-power on the leash line. The Waist Strap is sold separately.

Wrist Strap (Optional)

The Wrist Strap features a velcro closure with a soft neoprene inside layer. It connects to the Leash Line via a loop-to-loop connection. If you become overpowered or lose control, let go of the control bar and the wing will de-power on the leash line. The Wrist Strap is sold separately.

Quick Release (Optional)

The easy to use Quick Release is for riders who prefer extra security to detach from the wing in a fast and easy way. It is compatible with the Waist Leash or a harness. The Quick Release is sold separately.

Harness Line (optional)

Quick and easy to install, our Harness Line is a slim and lightweight design with an internal bungee contracting when unhooked to stay out of the way.
