Drawing upon the award-winning design of our iconic 10'6" Ride, distilled into a shorter shape that’s perfect for easy transport and versatile use. Yet reduced size belies its hefty weight-carrying capacity, making it suitable for a full range of paddlers up to 95kg. A user-friendly rounded nose profile and ample 32" of width provide stability, ensuring a comfortable ride in all conditions.

Constructed in our unique high-density MSL® PACT™ material with quad stringers for increased rigidity, our patented design allows Compacts to fold in half before rolling, offering unrivalled storage and portability options without sacrificing our industry-leading stiffness and durability. The package includes a five-piece adjustable carbon paddle, coiled leash, removable Click Fins and Titan II pump, all in our 75L Compact Backpack.

Fundamentally, our boards are designed and built to last. Our quality-assured Tec Air process has an extremely low warranty rate below 0.5%. Maximising longevity minimises our impact on the planet.

Yet even durable Red kit will eventually reach end-of-life, hence our ‘design for disassembly’ approach. For example, all Titan pump components are replaceable, while using 100% recoverable virgin plastic in our fins, finboxes and RSS battens ensure they’re fully recyclable. 

Our manufacturing processes, like turning the offcuts from our EVA deckpads into keyrings, aim for zero waste too, reflecting our commitment to low-impact resource selection. 

 

Material

MSL®1000: Compact Performance.

MSL®1000 is the pinnacle in dropstitch technology, at 1KG lighter per square meter than MSL, it utilises next generation weave technology and a super-fine fibre matrix to create a highly malleable, featherlight product.

What is MSL®? Safe. Stiff. Durable.

Monocoque Structural Laminate or MSL® is the world’s leading drop-stitch material. Exclusive to Red Paddle Co boards, it’s made to our exact specifications. 

Monocoque: meaning the coating is integral to the structure. MSL® drop-stitch technology integrates a highly durable, reinforced coating to the ultra-high-definition weave to form an inseparable base layer. 

Structural: the high-tensile drop-stitch fibres are designed to withstand pressures in excess of 22psi, meaning Red boards can be inflated to provide unrivalled stiffness and confidence, no matter the rider weight or prevailing conditions. 

Laminate: the reinforced composite coating is bonded to the textile core using machine welding that applies heat and pressure to the inner PVC layer, saving over 2kg of adhesives and reducing cosmetic and safety concerns. Produced under low tension, this process creates a torsional stiffening effect when the boards are inflated, making MSL® stiffer at lower pressures.

 

Compact Backpack - The redesigned ATB Transformer makes our best-selling All-Terrain Backpack an even more versatile travel companion. Its standout feature, the innovative bagless carry system, lets you strip back to just the core straps when heading down to the water. An adjustable ergonomic structure offers optimised shoulder and back support, while integrated compression straps enhance portability. Thoughtfully designed storage – an interior paddle blade pocket, Velcro paddle securing, and a generously sized outer zip pocket – keeps everything together in the bag.

5 Piece Paddle - Board packages come complete with a choice of paddle – or if you prefer, you can choose to go without. Ideal for newer paddlers, the Hybrid Tough paddle combines a durable nylon blade with a lighter 50% carbon hybrid shaft for an easier stroke. For those prioritising performance, the Prime is a powerful, lightweight paddle with a 100% forged carbon shaft and blade.

Twin Click Fins - Every board in our Compact range comes with two removable Click Fins. These durable plastic fins use a simple click-fit system with a secondary screw for added security. The two offset fin boxes are also compatible with FCS fittings, so you can alter the feel of your board by using different fins.

Titan II Pump - Widely acclaimed as the best manual SUP pump on the market, our Titan II ensures you’ll spend less time pumping and more time paddling. Its ergonomic design maximises ease and efficiency – pumping air at over 60mph in dual chamber mode. Then simply switch to single chamber to reach full pressure. The redesigned airbox integrates the gauge and hose outlet for hassle-free pumping. Sleek in-line cylinders, removable handles and foldable feet simplify storage too.

8ft Coiled Leash - Our Coiled SUP Leash is made for all flat-water paddlers and racers. When paddling it sits on the board to minimise drag, so it won’t catch on anything in the water. The 7mm dual cord leash features double pivot points to reduce twisting, attached via a comfortable neoprene ankle cuff with a quick-release Velcro closure and built-in key pouch. Supplied with a rope loop for securing the rail saver to a D-ring or any other leash point.
